Orienteering

189 × 270 mm stapled brochure | 48 pages + poster | digital print | July 2003
project with Norm, ECAL

The school exercise with Norm was called ‘PLAY’, and we were supposed to create a book about any game or sport. We had to do everything – put together a 10'000 word text, find the imagery and then propose our own modifications of the chosen game. Adam chose orienteering, a sport he did as a child. The book had a map-like cover as the key to its content. He designed a set of new map symbols such as magic mushrooms, living and dead water, forest fruits; running dresses using camouflage, and a secret alphabet.
